II. Privacy Policy & Data Autonomy

1. Data Collection and Autonomy

1.1 NextNum prioritizes user empowerment and data autonomy. We collect only the data strictly necessary for the provisioning of telecom services, billing, and regulatory compliance.

1.2 Absolute Right to Erasure: Subject to mandatory legal retention periods (detailed in Section 3), Users retain the full, absolute right to delete or remove their own registered numbers at will through the dashboard interface.

2. Information We Process

  • Account Data: Email addresses, hashed passwords, and authentication tokens.
  • Telecom Metadata: Call Detail Records (CDRs), SMS routing logs, timestamp data, and IP addresses, as required by international telecommunications standards.
  • Financial Data: Cryptocurrency wallet addresses and transaction IDs used for funding, processed via secure third-party gateways.

3. Mandatory Data Retention and Government Directives

3.1 Notwithstanding the user's right to delete numbers from their active dashboard, NextNum is legally obligated to retain certain routing logs and metadata to comply with Information Technology guidelines and Telecommunication Regulatory frameworks.

3.2 Law Enforcement Cooperation: In the event of a valid subpoena, court order, or formal request from recognized statutory authorities, NextNum will disclose required data. We do not provide user notices prior to such disclosures if prohibited by law.

This provision shall be construed in accordance with the prevailing statutory instruments governing digital telecommunications and virtual number provisioning. The User acknowledges that the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to all applicable international and domestic laws, including but not limited to electronic communications privacy acts, telecommunications regulatory authority guidelines, and data protection mandates. The Company disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
